Gustav Elijah Ahr, also known by his stage name Lil Peep, was an American rapper and songwriter renowned for his debut studio album ‘Come Over When You’re Sober.’ He was considered as one of the most influential figures in rock and hip-hop’s “post-emo renaissance”. Both of his parents were graduates of Harvard University.
At the age of 17, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. He released his first mixtape, “Lil Peep Part One” in 2015. After releasing a few additional mixtapes, he released his debut studio album in August 2017 that turned out as a professional and commercial success for Lil Peep. He died of a heroin overdose in November of 2017 when he was 21 years old.
