Elizabeth Ann Warren was born on June 22, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, U.S. She is an American politician, legal scholar, and former law professor who was elected as a Democrat to the US Senate from Massachusetts in 2012. She was a candidate in the 2020 Democratic Party Presidential Primaries. 

Elizabeth Warren is the fourth child of Pauline Louise and Donald Jones Herring but she was the first child to graduate from college. She earned her law degree from Rutgers University and started her teaching career in several universities, including the University of Houston where she got her degree in speech pathology, University of Texas and Austin, University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University.
