Malcolm X, a.k.a. Malcolm Little and el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz because he completed Hajj to Mecca. He was an African-American Muslim minister and also human rights activist who popularized the civil rights movement. He was imprisoned at the age of 21 for larceny and burglary and sentenced to 10 years in prison. He joined the Nation of Islam there and advocated for black separatism.
