In contrast to her “Dumb Blonde” personifications in the movies — she was quite the articulate woman! I just happened to watch “The seven year itch” last night and her screen presence was remarkable. Yes, she was every man’s fantasy back then (as she played up too) but there was much more there yet unrefined. Gone too soon, we’ll never get the chance to see her real artistic potential.
