Clint Easwood was born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California. He is an American actor, director, and producer who became one of the most popular Hollywood stars in the 1960s. He appeared in several TV series until he got his big break in starring the role as Rowdy Yates in Western TV series Rawhide. He then rose to international fame by portraying tough characters in Italian filmmaker Sergio Leone.

Clint Easwood became a respected director-producer for directing great films such as the Academy award, Unforgiven, Mystic River, and Million Dollar Baby. In 2000, Eastwood received the Italian ‘Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion Award’, honoring his lifetime achievements.
