Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, respectfully called Babasaheb, was born on April 14, 1981, in Mhow (town and military cantonment). He was the first Indian who received doctorates in economics from Columbia University and the London School of Economics. He used to work as an economist, professor and lawyer, but later on, he became more inclined towards political activities.
Ambedkar actively started publishing journals and contributing significantly towards the social freedom and political rights of Dalits.
