Elbert Hubbard, an eminent American philosopher, artist, and publisher, was born in Bloomington, Illinois, on June 19, 1856. His full name was Elbert Green Hubbard and was often referred to as the ‘Father of Marketing’ by many folks. He decided to become a novelist in the eighties and published three novels.
