Theodore Roosevelt Jr. also known as Teddy Roosevelt or TR was born on October 27, 1858, in New York City. He was the 26th president of the United State from 1901 to 1909 that became the youngest man to assume the presidency after the death of President William McKinley. He won the Nobel Peace Prize for mediating to end the Euro-Japanese War. Before Teddy became the president he first served as the 33rd governor and represented New York in the United State Senate, and became the 25th vice president.
