Aldous Leonard Huxley was a prolific writer and philosopher from England. He published almost fifty publications, including novels, essay collections, and poetry. Before beginning a surprisingly successful career as a professional essay writer, he studied at Eton College and Oxford University. Huxley was the third child of Leonard Huxley and Julia Huxley and was born in Godalming, Surrey, England, in 1894.
