  1. These posts made me think of Pearl Jam’s song “Black.” It’s not about depression, but it is about loss. At the end he talks of the children’s laughter and there’s a woman’s voice happily singing as he’s crying out in anguish. I’ve never been severely depressed but I can imagine the gap between how you’re feeling and how the rest of the world is going on like life’s a party, would be a hard thing to deal with. I sympathize with anyone going through depression right now.
