Interesting Facts About Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin is fondly remembered for being one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He held many titles, including writer, political philosopher, printer, scientist, politician, humorist, inventor, statesman, civil activist, and more. He only had two years of formal education, and even though he is widely considered as one of the most intelligent Americans of his time, the bulk of his knowledge derived from doing, not studying. 

Also, despite appearing on the $100 bill, Benjamin Franklin was never the President of the United States. He is a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame. He developed his passion for swimming while living in England in the 1970s
