30 Quotes from Mother Teresa on Love, Kindness & Her Own Personal Values

Mother Teresa also known as Saint Teresa of Calcutta was a Roman Catholic nun who devoted her life to serve the poor around the world. She is also called as a “blessed” missionary beloved by millions. She founded the Missionaries of Charity. She spent many years in Calcutta, India where famine and violence had devastated the poor and devoted to helping those in great need. Her charity work expanded globally and in 1979 Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize  “for work undertaken in the struggle to overcome poverty and distress, which also constitutes a threat to peace”. She then  became a symbol of charitable, selfless work.

The feast day of Mother Teresa is recognized on September 4, 2016. Mother Teresa was canonized by the Roman Catholic Church as Saint Teresa.
