Turtle’s Thoughts

What is the message behind the quote? Perhaps to be an effective leader that goes above and beyond the current status quo, we have to look at doing things differently from others or venture into areas where no one has thought to have travelled. Perhaps instead of being the stereotypical loud, confident and charismatic leader we must instead be humble and focus on those we are leading rather than trying to make an impression on the ‘crowd’.

  1. This speaks to me as lately I have been stepping out there with my blog and speaking honestly about tough topics. Scary for me! It seems like the crowd often says nothing or simply yells without listening. I am trying to find another way as a leader and writer.
